Klondike's Story...
Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush. ~Doug Larson
Klondike is that sing-song in the rain! His puppy antics and upbeat spirit are amusing and enchanting. He will turn two years old in May, so has some maturing to do and would benefit from formal training. This boy loves attention and gets along with everyone though may get overly excited in a large group of dogs. His boisterous nature might not be appropriate for young children or for playing with small animals. Klondike is a former racing greyhound from Tucson who only raced once. Though he can’t carry a tune, maybe he can bring some rhythm and cheer into your home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Klondike, a Santa Rosa Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
