Sara Bella's Story...
Sweet Sara Bella, does well with other dogs, her own family cats. Sara has recently underwent knee surgery. She is all recovered and ready to go to a new home who can offer her love, controlled exercise, a healthy diet. Sara came from a home that loved her dearly, but was unable to keep her due to an irresponsible neighbor who didn't care what happened to their cats. The new neighbor leaves his cats outside. Sara loves her own house kitties, but didn't care for intruders in her yard. She torn the ligament in her knee while letting a stray cat know that they needed to vacate the property. She underwent surgery for her workdog's comp claim and is recovered very well in foster-care. After many hours of soul searching, Sara's mom decided to have us find her a new home where she will not be in danger because of the neighbor's cats. It takes a lot of love to let go of one you love when you know it's best for them. We promised to find her the best new home we can for Sara. Sara is a very special girl to GRRR and her foster parents. We have all invested a lot in Sara to give her a pain free and healthy life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sara Bella, a Golden Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Golden, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Golden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Golden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Golden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Golden paves the way for another one to be saved.
