Long Tall Sally's Story...

Long Tall Sally is a sweet and affectionate girl.  She loves to be petted, but makes it pretty clear when she's had enough.  She is playful and really has quite the personality!  She's independent and enjoys lounging around in the sun.  We really don't understand why this independent girl is still here--perhaps because she doesn't tend to call attention to herself when people visit the adoption center.  She does NOT do well with dogs but is OK with other cats.  She needs a loving home where she can be appreciated for the wonderful kitty she is!  You can meet her at our adoption center.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption Process

Every kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed and have received a Distemper vaccine. With every adoption, we work with you to ensure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.

Step One
After you have found the perfect fit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Your responses are reviewed and if the fit is good for both you and the kitty or cat, you move on to the next step which is the Adoption Agreement.

Step Two
The Adoption Agreement is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties for the adoption of your new family member. A tax deductible donation to Kindred Kitties is requested. You will be given a Certificate for a free health check and if the cat/kitten is not yet spayed, you will receive a Spay/Neuter Certificate offering discounts at a number of local veterinarians.

One Cat (over 1 year old) = $60.00 or two for $100.00

One Kittens (under a year) = $80.00 or two for $120.00

If spay/neuter date is within two weeks of adoption date, it will be included with adoption fee.

Step Three
Make sure you have everything you need for your new family member before you bring your kitten or cat home. A volunteer will be able to assist you. Here is a list of things you will need:

Litter pan, litter and scooper
Food (dry and/or wet) appropriate for the age of your kitty
Food and water bowls
Toys (for socializing)
Bed or blanket
A quiet secure room for them to become acclimated with their new home
Lots of love and affection
