Baxter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Baxter's Story...
I am a sweet, beautiful boy with a big heart which is full of love. I am kind, easy going, affectionate and well mannered. Please give me plenty of attention because I really adore being with people and receiving their love. Having another dog in my new home would be fine and I have fun with kids too. I am housetrained, walk well on the leash but you do have to remind me not to jump up when I am excited. I have two favorite things: playing ball even though I can’t catch it and riding in the car. I get to go sometimes when my foster mom takes her daughter to school and boy does that make my day!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baxter, a Houston Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
