My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince arrived at the kennel from Guam! He has been at the kennel for a long time waiting for the right family to come along and welcome him into their lives. Prince is a friendly boy! He would probably do best in an adult only home or with older kids. A home that is more quiet and calm because he is a little shy and uncertain of things at first! Once he warms up to things he’s fine and is your friend for life! He has only known the racetracks and kennel as his home and would love a patient and loving family to adopt him and show him what the world is like out of a crate. At the kennel he goes out with other female greyhounds and does well with them. He was also in a foster home for a little while with another female Greyhound and was great, but he does need a home with NO CATS and NO SMALL DOGS! He would probably do best in a home as an only dog or with another female greyhound(s). He seems to be a little bossy with the males. Other then that Prince is a wonderful greyhound who just needs a little love. Prince has a very calm and gentle personality. He is pretty good in his crate. He will bark sometimes but that is typically directed at the other dogs. With a little refresher Prince is housetrained. He is also great on a leash! Prince also knows how to lie down and bow! With a little more practice he’ll be a pro! He is a very smart boy and eager to please especially for treats! Now all Prince needs is a forever family to love!
