Buster's Story...
Please help Buster find a New Home ...

How can you resist this handsome 10 month old Catahoula Bulldog mix and weighs about 45 lbs? Buster is a neutered male in perfect health. He’s sweet, charming, goofy, playful, really smart and eager to please! One of Buster’s favorite things to do is to go for nice long walks. He plays well with other dogs no matter their size, breed or gender.

Buster arrived in Sparkill, N.Y. 3 months ago, with no manners but has been working really hard to learn and improve on his obedience skills. He needs to run and exercise every day. While he isn’t a graduate student of obedience class, just yet; when he is adopted, his trainer will visit with you to speak to you on his behalf--since communication is critical in all good relationships. There will be no charge to Buster’s new Mom or Dad for his training. Buster’s current Mom wants to be sure he’s placed in a good forever home where he will be well cared for and grow up to be a happy well behaved boy.

Buster is waiting to hear from you---he’s a very good boy who needs a new Mom and/or Dad that has time to help him graduate and live a nice, healthy life in a good forever home. Let Buster be part of your family---he’ll love you for life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Hillsdale Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Hillsdale, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Hillsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
