Shy's Story...

(ID #827) Hi, my name is Shy.

I am a young lady, just a little over one year old. I am a nice size; not too big and not too small. Perfect for your home.

I don't do well around little kids so the perfect home for me would be an adult household. I do OK around other dogs. Please come visit with me and I can show you how neat I am.

I have been given my basic shots. Part of my adoption package includes a certificate for a FREE spay. Now that is cool.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. They are providing me with a getting started goodie bag. This bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, toy, a FREE training DVD, a certificate for a FREE dog training course (This course is held in the Sharonville area), and other dog related items.

Contact Kathie at dog_picture@yahoo.com for more information on how I can become part of your family.

See you soon

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shy, a Cincinnati Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
