Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a very special case. I lost two of my siblings to a nasty disease called FIP. Though I have yet to show any signs of developing the disease, my vet feels that I am predisposed to developing the illness at some point in our lives. It could be in 8 years, or it could never happen. She said that the safest thing to do would be to euthanize me since my future is so unclear. That said, C.A.T.S just can't do it. Instead, they are looking for what they are calling a "permanent foster home." This would be very different from a normal adoption because there will be no adoption fee and, if I do end up sick, C.A.T.S will do what they feel is medically necessary to alleviate my suffering. It is very important to note that FIP is NOT contagious. It results from a mutation of a very common virus that most cats have already had exposure to. If you are interested in giving me a loving home for the rest of my life, please contact Cats About Town.
