Stroker Ace's Story...
Hello my name is Stroker Ace and I am here to win the race!!! I am 3 1/2 years old and was put out in the hot summer by myself in a 6x6 boarded up space with just food, water and a bed, I had to go to the bathroom in the same area and only had myself to talk to. I then was taken away by two nice people to a better home for love, care and attention. I have learned how to be an indoor dog but still need some help perfecting it. I guess my new owners have to find me a home where I am the center of attention most of the time, because with their two other puppies, a cat and a farm full of goats, they don't have the time I need. So if you have children, pets of any kind, I do get along with all of them. At first I may be skitish but a little love and attention will fix that right up. I was neutered and I have all my shots and I even use interceptor for all those pesky fleas and tics. Oh, and my owners give me a 1/2 a pill once a day for my thyroid. Thank you and please consider me for your home. If you would like to meet me, you can contact my owners Jeff & Tracey @ 318-820-2735 or email them @

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stroker Ace, a Haughton Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
