Bailey's Story...
This adorable little male lab mix is just waiting for a new home. Bailey is 11 weeks old and so playful and loving. He loves to play with his brother Brody. . Bailey is in foster care waiting for a new home and working on house manners already. His foster mom said he was well behaved and loves to cuddle and just be with you all the time. He loves to romp in the snow and chase snow balls thrown by his foster mom. We know that he is a black lab mix, and we are just guessing about the border collie. He will probably be around 45 lbs when full grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Rochester Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
