Daphne's Story...
Meet our lovely supermodel, Daphne. This East Texas beauty was found wandering as a stray in, of all places, a car wash. Daphne must have known what she was doing when she wandered up to one of our foster moms, who just happened to be in the right place, at the right time. (God knows when & where to send His angels). Lovely Daphne was rescued that day and is receiving lots of love in her foster home. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is gentle around her foster mom's son. Daphne is just a happy, all-around sweet young lady. She also seems to be in excellent health. Daphne is spayed, fully vaccinated, wormed, heartworm-negative and is now on monthly heartworm prevention & flea control. She appears to be a young dog - maybe a year or 2 old. Daphne is ready to find her permanent family. She would love to have kids to play with and maybe a doggie buddy or 2. Our $150 adoption fee helps cover the cost of Daphne's vet care. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Carrollton Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
