Lexie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lexie's Story...
Arriving at our shelter cold, hungry and exhausted, we quickly took notice to Lexie's belly. . . .she was due to give birth any day. Having the pups took a toll on her but she was a good Mommy. Separated from her pups now Lexie hopes to find a quiet home to call her own and keep her safe. She is a timid girl who loves to go for slow walks and get a good scratch on the head. She is a good girl who just wants someone to love her, so call the shelter for more info if you would like to meet this sweet girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexie, a Fair Oaks Ranch Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Fair Oaks Ranch, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Fair Oaks Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fair Oaks Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fair Oaks Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fair Oaks Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
