Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arrival Story: Roo (named for his kangaroo-style hopping) was dumped at an animal shelter with two very misshapen front legs. His left front leg is folded at the wrist, and he doesn't use it. His right front leg is bowed as well. A Faithful Friends volunteer took him right home to start giving him the care he needed.
Age / Weight: Roo is about 4 months old and 25 lbs. We expect him to be about double that size when he is full grown.
Personality Description: Roo is fun! He loves the dog and the toddler at his foster home...especially the toddler's toys! Roo doesn't seem to realize that he had been given a tough lot in life. He is a very happy boy and gets around great right now on three legs (his left front leg is deformed so it is unusable).
Faithful Friends is taking Roo immediately to the vet and then to a specialist to see what treatment/care he needs for his legs so he can lead a long healthy life.
Ideal Forever Home: Roo is a great dog who will likely fit into many different homes. He just needs a family who thinks that he is beautiful as he is and who will help him through physical therapy or whatever treatment is ahead of this guy.
