Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a soft, sleek male gray tabby, just barely 1 year old, maybe a little under. I was named King Tut because I look like an Egyptian cat with a long, triangular face. My exotic looks will make you want to hold me and pet me. If you do, I will purr, purr, purr! I love other kitties and want to play, but love to cuddle with my human too.
I am a very special kitty not only because I'm so sweet, but because I have also been diagnosed with juvenile cataracts. What that means is that we have to wait and see what the future holds. My vision is fine now, and my cataracts are categorized as "immature" and may or may not progress in time. Sometimes cataracts spontaneously resolve on their own, sometimes they stay the same, and sometimes they progress and get worse, which means that my vision might fail down the line. My vet says that even if the worst happens, that progression of vision loss due to cataracts usually occurs over a long period of time and most cats are able to adjust to the loss of vision without any problem. While cataracts can sometimes be treated through surgery, many cats adjust so perfectly that it is not even necessary.
So, I am looking for my forever home with a wonderful owner who will be my friend and companion forevermore and who is willing to stand by me through whatever the future may hold. Are you that special someone?
