WHAT A CUDDLE BUG!

A big boy at 16 lbs., Duffy is all Peke ~ Proud, beautiful, non-barky, and loyal as few breeds are. Under two years old, he is very active and really enjoys playing frisbee and romping with another dog. Given up because his owner had "too many dogs," he wants his own special someone again - who will love him like no other.

Duffy really enjoys another doggie playmate, but is rough and tumble, so needs a buddy at least his size and fairly young that wants to play a lot, too! Unfortunately, Duffy also likes to chase cars, so he requires a fenced yard (no exceptions) - plus gets bored easily, and really wants a stay at home parent so that he's not left alone for long periods of time. He rides fine in the car, walks well on a retractable lead, gives terrific kisses, likes to sleep in bed with his foster family, and would probably really like the fun older children (perhaps 10 and up) would provide. We have found him to be a bit overly protective of his home and people, so he will require a dog savvy home that can deal effectively with his 'stranger' issue; he has gotten much better with this through consistent handling and people visits. He is housebroken but has not been around cats. Duffy is being fostered in Virginia and his asking adoption donation is $275. E-MAIL INQUIRIES ARE ANSWERED FASTER THAN PHONE CALLS.
