Oreo's Story...
What a handsome guy! Oreo is such a nice puppy, born on 1/2/2005. He was an owner surrender because he hit the weight limit at the apartment he was living in. Good heavens! Most Labradors do get to be over 40#, don't they? How unfair for Oreo.

We don't know that much about him, the owner didn't have much to say about him except that he is afraid of vacuum cleaners and slinkies. It sounds like he led a very sheltered life in his apartment.

He is a very happy boy and gets along with other dogs. He is crate trained and we do not know if he was house trained.

He is a very gentle boy who deserves a good home---forever. Do you want to give him that home?

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just let us know. If you have questions about the dog, please call C.A.R.E.S. after 6:00 p.m. or email us. Sorry, but C.A.R.E.S. will NOT return long distance phone calls--our money is better spent on dog food............Thank you!

This pet is: up to date with routine shots, altered

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Wyoming Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Wyoming, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Wyoming.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wyoming already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wyoming breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wyoming paves the way for another one to be saved.
