Josie's Story...
Meet Josie, one of the "J" Litter Pups. She is a 10 week old purebred sable female German Shepherd Puppy who came from Tennessee along with her 5 siblings. Josie is a typical GSD puppy with typical puppy behavior- chews everything etc.

Josie is the explorer of the girls group. If there is a new place to discover, she is the first to venture. She does well with our other foster puppies, older big dogs and grumpy old cat. Josie will be ready for placement at approximately 13 weeks of age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
