Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clark came to us about 3 weeks ago and he is just a bundle of love. We’ve been calling him “Gizmo” because he really didn’t answer to Clark, for us and when you look at him and call him Gizmo, it just fits! He is great with our dogs and the cat and loves the dog park. He will show you he is happy by his “windmill tail” that goes in a circle at about 100 miles per hour! He loves to know everything that is going on with everyone, for example, when the bugman comes over or we’re at the park. He will have to go up to everyone to say “Hi!” Clark is patio door potty trained, we’re not sure about doggie door trained, as we do not have one.
Clark seems to be good with children and he is the sweetest dog and happy all of the time. He just completed a vet visit and had a tooth pulled. He also was found to have a Grade 4 heart murmur on ultrasound, but will not require heart medicine at this time. We did need to start him on thyroid pills, as his thyroid is slow, and he has lost a couple of pounds and has more energy already. (The thyroid pills are only $11 per month) He would make anyone who is looking for a sweet, wonderful, mature Basset Hound a wonderful pet. He is an awesome dog.
