My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harry is looking for a forever home...
His foster mom writes:

"Some info on Harry.

I found him about 3 weeks ago when I was driving to work. I thought he was a hit and run, he was bleeding and freezing. It was one of the coldest days. I took him to my vet. He was emaciated, double ear infection and had a huge tumor hanging from his anus. The vet and I agree that he was not taken care of for a very long time. He did not have a chip, collar etc.

He had surgery this past Thursday. They neutered him and removed the tumor. It came back benign. Both ear infections have cleared up and he has gained 3 lbs. He is living in my kitchen. I have two dogs and a cat. He is not good with the cat but really good with other dogs.

Harry is really sweet and likes all people. He is an old boy, probably 10 years old, according to the vet. I will foster him, he now comes into the living room at night and sleeps on his bed next to my chair. He wants to be with people. Dogs are so forgiving!

He is on Rimadyl for his arthritis, his back legs aren't all that great. He is house broken and lets you know when he has to go out. He sleeps through the night now. It took him time to settle.

I would love to keep him but I am a single working girl. I am away many hours. My dogs are used to it. Harry needs someone who is home with him more... He has to go out a lot.

I hope you can help find him a loving, understanding home, he needs to spend the last part of his life with dignity! I am attaching a few pictures. He is a big boy!"
