My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a sweet boy Wyatt is!! Everyone who meets this little guy can't help but stop to pet him for a bit. And Wyatt is more than happy to accept your attention and lavish you with his!

You wouldn't think that Wyatt would be such a nice, loving dog given his past. His previous owners moved out of their home and left him and another dog in the home to fend for themselves. When a new renter moved into the home, they found two dogs inside. It's not known how long they were left alone inside without food and water. They were brought to Animal Control. Sadly Wyatt's canine friend did not fair well at Animal Control and was not able to be saved but thankfully we were able to save Wyatt. As you can see in his video, Wyatt is in dire need of a grooming session! Not to worry, we have taken care of his hair and clipped his long nails. We are working on helping him lose a pound or too as well. Despite the terrible past that Wyatt has had, he remains in good spirits.

Wyatt is a spry little guy. He likes to play with other dogs, snuggle with people, go for walks and car rides. Wyatt needs a home that will love and care for him all the days of his life. If you think that's your home, please fill out an application today!

Wyatt weighed 19.9 pounds when we rescued him.
