Here's what the humans have to say about me:
These two little kittens were dropped off at our vet's office on August 1 because they were rescued by a caring young girl who took one look at them and realized they were very ill. They were under weight, had upper respiratory infections and eyes so badly inflamed that my vet was not sure she could save their eyesight. But Dr. Nancy Ruth often works miracles and she did so once again because as their pictures show, their eyes are wide open and clear.
Because these two, a tiger tabby girl and a buff tabby boy, are all but joined at the hip they became Thing 1 and Thing 2, only lacking the stars--for those of you who do not read Dr. Seuss I highly recommend him. They go everywhere together; if one goes to the vet, the other goes along for company. Thing 2, the boy, is a total cuddle bug while Thing 1 is more wiggly but will cuddle on her own whim. They may always remain a little smaller than most kittens but that only adds to their allure. On August 1 their age was estimated at 3 weeks, so they are now about 11 weeks old. Their favorite toy is something that make a crinkle noise or feather on a wand, as you can see in the last picture, taken at a recent adoption show.
