My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Every so often, a remarkable dog comes along with a unique story and Prince is one of those dogs. Born in December 2008, he lived at the end of a chain from the age of two months. Although his elderly caregivers were well-meaning, they apparently had no idea that the harness they put on him had cut into his body as he grew. Prince is not only stunning, but he also has an amazing temperament despite the pain he must have been in. After spending several days at the vet, he is now under the loving care of his foster, learning what it is like to live in a home with people and to socialize with other dogs. Prince is soaking up all the attention and has demonstrated to everyone, his rescuers, staff at the vet clinic and his foster, that he is very appreciative of having been set free of the harness and chain; he is even clean in the house. If you have been looking for the perfect German Shepherd, here he is. Prince will be neutered very shortly.
