Margaret's Story...
8/29/09 Margret Marie has not had a good start to life. The caring officers of the Gallatin Police Department called SPA about a dog that had been left behind when the owners moved. She was chained outside all alone with no one to care for her since December 2008. She was very skinny and scared when she came to SPA. She is starting to come out of her shell and once she gets to know you is very loving and sweet. Margret deserves a second chance at a happy life in a new forever home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Margaret, a Gallatin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
