My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About 3 years old Deena was dropped off at a nearby shelter. She was initially so terrified the staff thought they might have to put her down for being fear aggressive. Once I sat on the kennel floor though this darling little girl was all over me. On my lunch break from work I had to promise her repeatedly that I was coming back right after work before she let go of my skirt hem. Deena does seem to be a ladies dog as she tries to stay clear of men. It took a week before she'd allow her foster dad to come near her. She plays well with all of her foster dog sisters & brothers and chases any of the family cats that are willing to play that game. Her foster family has no children and if her timid beginnings are any indication of her social skills we'd recommend only teenagers who are gentle and respectful of a dogs personal space.
