Blueberry's Story...
Blueberry and her friends are VPAS' newest arrivals and they wont last long. They have just turned 8 weeks old and are now old enough for adoption.

Blueberry is the most laid-back and cuddly kitten in her litter. She begins purring as soon as she is pet and loves to sit with her foster mom watching the world. Of course, when the rest of the kittens are playing she is right in there having fun too.

Blueberry is a mostly black kitty, but she has the most adorable little white flecks all over her head; it looks as though she's been dusted with icing sugar.

All of these kittens have spent the last 2 months in a quiet foster home so haven't had experience with other pets or children, but with proper introductions they will likely be comfortable with them in no time.

To learn more about Blueberry and her friends please come to our adoption centre for a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blueberry, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
