My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mo is a 2-3 year old Border Collie/Corgi mix. A handsome little guy with heavy freckling and silky rough coat. Mo looks BC, but in a Corgi body. He weighed 25 pounds the day of his neuter. He has a slight hitch to his gait, so we asked our vet to palpate his rear leg while he was under anesthesia. There is an old fracture that was not set. It would require re-breaking the leg to correct. There is a possibility the outcome would not be better than he is now. We decided that to put him through the pain was not worth that risk. He does very well. As a matter of fact, the day he was to go in for sterilization surgery, he jumped from the truck and took off like a shot. It does not hamper him at all and most importantly, he does not show any pain.

Mo does well with all his foster siblings, large all the way down to our resident 3 pounder! He is an easy going kind of guy. He is starting to show us he has a sense of humor and it is really hard to stay mad at such a cute face. We think he might have been chased while he was at large. Catching him is becoming easier now that he realizes love and attention are at the end. He is realizing that not all humans are bad.

Stay tuned as we get to know this little character better. That is if someone doesn't swoop on him ;-)
