Trudy's Story...
Trudy was rescued with her sister Roxy who was adopted and left Trudy rather lonely. She has now made friends with some of the other rescued dogs and they love to romp and play in the leaves. Trudy is 4 years old, as of March 2012, and weighs about 45 pounds. She comes to her favorite spot next to the wood stove in the evening. She is crate trained and 90% housebroken. She is not use to city traffic or crowds of people or high energy children. She would be great in a home with other dogs and would need a fenced yard. Trudy would make a great companion. If you would like to give Trudy a forever home please contact Kitty at 937-587-5454 or email us at sugarbearrescue@yahoo.com.

Our Adoption Process...

We require those interested to fill out an application and provide references. If you live in an apartment we will need your landlord's contact information. Adoption fees are required and are used to help recover the cost of vetting the animal. As fees are collected they are used on subsequent animals in need of care.
