Mio's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mio's Story...
Mio is a darling purebred dachshund who was found as a stray dog and never reclaimed. He is waiting for his forever home where he will have another playful dog as a companion. Milo is 100% doxie in temperament. He is good with kids over 10 and would likely chase cats. He really enjoys being in a fenced yard so he can spend plenty of time sniffing like the hound he is. Mio does settle down well inside and is a great cuddler too. He is house trained when taken out on a schedule. Mio is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mio, a Osseo Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
