Shaun's Story...
Shaun, a young male Aussie mix, who is a bundle of energy and exuberance just like is name-sake Olympic snowboarder Shaun White. The guy just wants to have fun. He gets along with other dogs, kids and people. That full tail does not stop wagging. Shaun will need a family who will enjoy his energetic nature and who will help him learn his boundaries.

As a former shelter dog, Shaun has a ways to go to make a good house pet, but he is eager to learn and really wants to please. He is being crate trained and accepts his crate without complaint. He is up to date on all shots and neutered and on heartworm prevention.

Shaun is fostered in Savannah if you are interested in him please fill out this application http://www.aussierescuega.com/non-arph-adoption-form/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shaun, a Savannah Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
