Aramis (aka Missy)'s Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Aramis (aka Missy)'s Story...
Missy is a dainty grey and white short haired female with green eyes. Up-to-date on vaccinations and dewormings. Missy is definitely a cutie and loves being the center of attention. She enjoys meeting new people and purrs before contact (Yes, before!). She is a great purrer and loves to be rubbed all over, especially her face. She'll headbutt your hand for more petting if she doesn't think you've given enough. Missy is also very vocal. She has a loud distinct voice that clearly tells you what she wants, which is usually more petting. She's a very playful kitten and may paw water out of the water bowl. She also loves the laser pointer and will chase it until she's out of breath. Missy enjoys lap time as long as you're paying attention to her and enjoys sitting in places that are right in front of you so that you know she's there. She's also very easy to handle. As long as someone is petting her, she doesn't care if someone is clipping her nails. She's not a picky eater and loves treats as well as regular food. She may not get along with other cats besides her littermates and probably not dogs. Missy's two littermates are also up for adoption: Athos and Porthos.

Please reference the kitten id number if you are interested in this kitten. The orphan kitten project has many more kittens than are listed. Please contact us to see more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aramis (aka Missy), a Davis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
