My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone! My name is Sophia.
I am a wonderful little girl that was found wondering the streets of Greensboro. Two very nice ladies saw me and contacted their vet, who then sent two of their employees to rescue me!

The vet's office tried very hard to find my family, but no one ever came to get me. I don't know why because everyone I meet says I am the sweetest little girl they ever met! After several weeks, the wonderful people at the vet's office contacted Friends of Penny so that I could find a brand new family.

I have been with 2 foster families since FOP got me....the first family who picked me up from the vet and now my second family who I will stay with so that I can see Dr. John. I have all of my vaccinations and I am heartworm negative, but I need to be spayed and have my teeth cleaned. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I have this "bubble" on my bottom that is going to be removed. Dr. John said it is a tumor, but it is benign. He said we are going to remove it when I have my spay surgery. Of course, I am already very attractive, but you know how we girls worry about our figures (especially our behinds....giggle).

Anyway, both my foster mommies have fallen head over heals in love with me. I am completely housebroken and I get along well with other dogs. Oh yeah, and I am talented too....I can play the drums! LOL. I am a very happy girl and full of life! I have LOTS of love to give! If you think that you would be my perfect furever family, you can contact my foster mommy at rochelle@rescueminpins.com.

Oh yeah, and my surgery is going to be kind of expensive ($420). I would be very greatful for any donations to help FOP pay my doctor bill. That way Friends Of Penny can help other great furkids who, like me, lost their forever family, by getting them the very best doctors care and find them their own furever family. THANK YOU.
