Sadie's Story...
**This is a courtesy posting for Leon County Humane Society** Please contact Jan, Sadie's foster, at jcalvin@embarqmail.com for adoption details.

Meet Sadie a 2 year old Weimaraner with a tail. Sadie is very affectionate and wants to be with her family, house and crate trained. Needs room to run and would really like a 4 legged companion to play with. She gets along with all dogs large and small, gets down on her belly to play with 15lb foster. She is very smart as she has learned the rules in her foster home very quickly. Sadie is 2 years old and weighs 60lb. Although Sadie is an inside dog, a fenced yard is required. Like all Leon County Humane Society dogs, this one is already spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested free of heartworms.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Eustis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Eustis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Eustis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eustis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eustis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eustis paves the way for another one to be saved.
