Lily's Story...
Hi my name is Lily. I am about as cute as they come. These good people from ARC rescued me from a not so good situation. I am about 2 yrs old and for that 2 yrs, I was not taken care of. I ended up with a yeast infection all over my skin and I lost almost all of my hair. It took months for my skin to clear up and for my hair to start coming back in. It is still not all there and there are spots that probably won't see hair again. I was given special shampoo which needs to be used now and then and I need to be on medication for the itch. I love to sit on your lap and give kisses. I am really good with other dogs, people, kids and cats. I will need someone special who will look out for me so I don't get this bad again.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Bloomsburg Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
