Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When his foster mom initially got Baxter, he was too terrified to even get out of his crate to go home with her. Baxter didn't know how to interact with other dogs in play or how to be part of the 'pack.' He is now socializing with other dogs and plays well with them but it took him awhile to know dog play and how to act in certain situations...now he's doing just great.
Baxter has a very sweet temperament, sits for his food, is food motivated, and as far as training, is crate trained. He doesn't give his foster mom a bit of trouble, although he'll tell her when she gets home from work that he needs to get out of his crate to go outside! He gets along well with other dogs, hasn't been introduced to cats yet and I think he'd be great with children.
Baxter has been to Petsmart once for socializing and meeting people in the store and did great. He is turning out to be a wonderful dog and will be the perfect new member for one lucky family.
