Lola's Story...
Lola, the sweet pittie princess with one blue eye and one brown eye, was found by a good samaritan wandering the streets of the Bronx - and ohh so dirty. Her rescuer bathed her, fed her, and gave her a warm bed. Lola is currently staying with her good Samaritan, but will need to find a new home or foster home very soon. Lola is well socialized, is friendly with other dogs, and presents as a no concern with cats. If you are able to provide a Foster or Permanent home for Lola, please contact citypitties@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Brooklyn American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
