My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco is a gorgeous, gorgeous chocolate lab mix girl. She is a high lab mix, but has a few characteristics that are not typical of a lab. She is leaner with a more narrow snout, a bit longer hair, and her ears lay a bit differently. We believe that she may have some border collie characteristics and traits. She is about 1 year old and is about 50lbs in weight. Coco is friendly with humans and loves to play and get treats. She gets along with other dogs, but can be very bossy. Most dogs just let her be the boss and enjoy playing and romping around with her in the back yard. Coco is on the higher energy side and would make a terrific running, hiking or walking partner. Coco will need a family that will show firm leadership skills as she will surely want to be the leader of the pack. But once she realizes that she is not in charge, she will submit and be the wonderful family member that she was intended to be. Coco is crate trained and working on house manners. She needs work on jumping, leash walking and will do well with basic obedience. Coco is very smart and picks up quickly what she needs to know. Coco was one of our heartworm positive dogs, but has been treated and recovered. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and now, heartworm negative. She is on prevention for fleas and heartworm and is micro-chipped.
