Bella's Story...
Please contact Terrell Cabrales and not the Downtown Dog Rescue.
Hi, this is Bella. Bella is truly a lucky girl. She had been running around a busy neighborhood with a severe neck wound from a too small choke collar. No one was able to catch her until a wonderful good samaritan that was temporarily working in the area came along. For several days he would offer her his lunch and she finally learned to trust him. Now she is completely healed, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, fecal test done, frontlined, and microchipped. She is a boxer-lab mix, 60 pounds, and about a year old. She loves to play with other dogs and tolerates cats and children. She is also housetrained with a doggy door. Contact Terrell at 323-385-8993 or tc2806@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Los Angeles Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
