MEG's Story...
Meg is a 5 year beautiful Rottweiler/Lab mix. She is sociable, affectionate, playful and sweet. She enjoys a good game of tug of war is very strong and knows to let go when you tell her to. Meg likes to go on walks, play ball, sits on command, and raises her paw cutely to get pets and belly rubs. Because she wants to please, she listens intently when you talk to her and responds extremely well with positive praise and treat rewards. Meg does have one quirk, she does not like people poking fingers in her crate or kennel and might snarl but who can blame her? She prefers to be in the house and wants to be around her people. Meg needs to be the only dog of the home. She is house-trained, crate-trained and learning her basic obedience. She needs a calm assertive leader and a forever loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MEG, a Patterson Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Patterson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Patterson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Patterson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Patterson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Patterson paves the way for another one to be saved.
