Hi, my name is Dutch and I am a young purebred chocolate lab girl. I have had a bit of a rough beginning and when I first meet other dogs I need some time to get used to them. I am housebroken and very sweet. I would do best in a house without cats or very young dogs because i like to chase the cats a little too much and am a little uncomfortable when the young dogs get up in my face.
I would make a great running partner and am mastering my basic commands. I am crate trained and my foster family is working hard on my socialization. I get along well with the senior fosters in my house and have no problems. I absolutely love toys and meal time!
My favorite toy at my foster house is a rope toy! I will need some patience and lots of love as I made the long journey from Kansas where I was hours away from being put down before RROC stepped in and saved me. I have a second chance now and am making great strides in only a few days. I can play with the best of them and have energy but when I am in the house I calm down right away. Please ask about me because I am a great girl! Stand by because my picture is coming soon!
