Here's what the humans have to say about me:
7-26-10: If anyone is looking to adopt two dogs together, Snickers and Tony are getting along famously, as the new picture will show!
6-6-10: Here is an update for Snickers. This dog just wants to be loved! Her foster mom says she would make a great companion for anyone with kids, other dogs(not required), or even an elderly person because she is fairly low energy. She took her on a pack walk with eight other dogs and she was very content walking by her foster's side.
She is crate trained and will go in her crate to eat if you tell her to. She likes her crate but most likely has bad memories from her past, because long durations alone make her anxious. She loves car rides, a great walker (my 15 month old walked her ),and cuddling! She would cuddle all day if I let her.
Snickers is a very loving dog and would be compatible in most homes. Cats are unknown. Snickers would be best with someone who can love her up and give her strong leadership. With TLC and good guidance Snickers would make an amazing pet! Her foster mom says that she envies anyone who gets to have her!
5-15-10 Snickers is here in New England and doing super in her foster home with a male dog and children.
4/1/10: Snickers is currently living in a veterinarian's office in the south and unfortunately has to be crated for many hours a day. We would love to bring this adorable girl north so that we can help her find a forever home. She has just been through heartworm treatment.
We are told that this Snickers is as sweet as the candy bar, and she smiles when you talk to her! This wonderful girl just wants to be loved. She does not appear to be a high energy dog, but just wants her humans to pet and talk to her. She is such a love!
Snickers should go to a home without cats.
*Like many of our sweeties, Snickers is currently with our partner shelter in the south*
