Princess Buttercup's Story...
Hi there, I am Princess Butter Cup and I am a very sweet, loving 7 month old baby found out on the mean streets of Greeley. Highland Hills took me in and asked Duncan's Place to help me, I had some sores on my paws, I do have asthma and every so often need a puffer treatment. I play long and hard and love to eat!!
I have already been tested for FIV/FeLV-Negative, dewormed, microchipped(free registration), rabies and FVRCP vaccines. I have been spayed and I am ready to go to my forever home. I like to roll on my back and talk to you while you scratch my belly, I make air biscuits, love fleece beds, and dangly toys. I am also a big fan of canned food. My adoption donation is $70 and you can reach my foster mom Cathy at 970-214-2233.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess Buttercup, a Milliken Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Milliken, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Milliken.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milliken already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milliken breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milliken paves the way for another one to be saved.
