My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Robby was not happy in a high kill shelter. He growled at the workers so that sealed his fate - euthanasia or rescue - so we took him. As usual, when we bring an unhappy small dog out of a shelter and plunk him into a home environment, things improve dramatically. He's a happy boy now. Robby is a 2 year old, white and red smooth coat chihuahua weighing 12 pounds. He gets along fine with the dogs in his foster home but is not good with some kids. We think that's how he ended up in the shelter in the first place. Robby loves to sit on your lap and comes to you for affection.

Robby is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive and microchipped. Even with all of that done, his adoption fee is only $200.
