Gizmo's Story...
Gizmo is a shorthaired, gray tabby who was born on September 15, 2005. He has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for feline leukemia. Gizmo loves people of all ages and is great with other cats. He has a really neat personality! Gizmo is very playful and enjoys a game of tag with a buddy. If the buddy should tire, Gizmo will invent a game of his own – playing with pipe cleaners is a favorite of his. Gizmo loves to have a window to look out of so that he can watch the squirrels, chipmunks and birds. He loves to be petted and pampered. Gizmo also enjoys being a bed buddy at night (if given the opportunity). He has a tendency to check what his human friends are having for dinner to see if he is getting a fair shake. Gizmo would make a wonderful addition to any home with his friendly, out-going nature. Call 507-451-4512 to meet this perrrfect kitty! (PJ)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a Owatonna Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
