Slick's Story...
This is slick, one of the cats that came in from a woman with cancer that can no longer carew for him or his buddies. He is up to date on shots, but due to the discharge from eyes and nose have come to the conclusion he has allergies. He is very sweet and still getting used to people, I see no problem with him being around kids. He likes other cats, but we have not had him around a dog so i am not sure how he would react. He has been altered, declawed, and is UTD on shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slick, a Wooster American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Wooster, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wooster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wooster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wooster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wooster paves the way for another one to be saved.
