HONEY is a very loving, 5 year old, 11 lb, femme fatale, with eyes that melt you.  Honey  has paralysis of her back legs, probably from jumping off a high surface a couple of months ago.  We are looking for a very special home for her...please see info below.

Update!
Honey has received her custom wheelchair from Eddie's Wheels. Her foster mom is continuing with her passive stretching exercises, massage and exercises to improve core and strength in her rear legs.
In the past month,  the tone in her rear legs has improved somewhat and she can stand for about 10 seconds (when lifted up and given help with balance).
Potential adopters would have to have experience with disabled dogs, and be committed to continuuing her at home physical therapy and visits with Dr. Loren Weaver, a vet/chiropractic/acupuncturist.

HONEY is an amazingly beautiful  5 year old, 11.5 lb, femme fatale, with eyes that melt you.  Honey  has paralysis of her back legs, probably from jumping off a high surface a couple of months ago.
Honey has been measured for a custom wheelchair tomorrow and the cost will be around $350.  She's had xrays and  full bloodwork and a consult with a neurologist, Dr.Quigley at Oakland Veterinary Referral Services in Bloomfield, MI . It's unlikely that Honey will recover the use of her legs but we're hopeful that with vet/chiropractic/acupuncture treatments, she will show some improvement.
Honey has been treated twice by Dr.Loren Weaver, a wonderful vet/chiropractic/acupuncturist.
Please donate towards Honey's care! Any donations are appreciated and can be made on our site with PayPal. Donations will go towards her treatments by Dr. Weaver.  PLS CONTACT US FOR ADOPTION INFO
