Begum's Story...
Arrival Story: Begum is up for adoption because her family is moving to a home where they only can have 2 dogs and they currently have 4.

Age: 6 Years old but has many great years left in her!.

Personality: Begum is a sweet and quiet girl who takes a little time to warm up to strangers, but she's not mean to anyone - just a little shy. Her true personality comes out when she's out for a walk, which she loves more than life itself (must be the hound in her)! She does seem to quickly warm up to men quicker than females but can go to a home with a female.

Because she is on the quiet side, it's thought she'd do better in a home without a lot of commotion. She'd make a great dog for a retired person or couple. She has lived with 3 other dogs and 4 cats and does well with them all - even playing with the gentler dogs, although she doesn't like overly-dominant dogs pushing her around. She will go after fowl such as chickens, ducks, etc. (again - must be the hound in her). She's a great dog that has many years left in her to love and share with you!.

Adoption Fee: $175 - she is up to date on vaccines, is spayed and will be microchipped prior to adoption.

How to Meet/Adopt This Pet: Complete a pre-adoption application by downloading it here - Adoption Application - and send to Denise at Once an application is received and approved, we can set up a meet and greet with the animal in question.

Begum is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
