Cameron's Story...
Cameron is a 1 1/2 year old, 15 pound, cream colored Chihuahua/Terrier mix. His estimated birth date is January 28, 2004. He is a nice sweet dog that is good with other dogs. During his temperament test, he did well except when the tested tagged him - hitting him to start to play. This probably was frightening to him if no one had ever done that to him in his prior home - or if he was hit in his prior home. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. If you are interested in Cameron, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cameron, a Spring Valley Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
