Hello, My name is Nugget. I know that you are very busy and probably receive many pleas for help every day. I'd like to share my story with you and if you had someone who could be my Perfect Person or you could publicize my story or you had space for me or you could help in any way, I'd be so grateful to you. (I have two Angels--one who is writing for me and one who is my foster mom.) I'm sending you a lick in advance for taking the time to read this.
I've had a lot of bad luck in my life. I'll just be honest about that. But I know that poop happens and I'm holding out hope that the rest of my life could be really nice. I'm 6 years old (9/27/98) and I'm a Rottweiler. A BIG Rottweiler with the really loyal trait that Rotties have. I am so wanting someone to love. (I'd like to stay with my Angel who has gotten me to this point, but she has 4 dogs and 3 cats and she says I really need my very own family.)
The reason that I can remember a lot of things that happened to me is because the vet that my Angel took me to board with until she could figure out how to help me was the same vet I was taken to before. They told my Angel that I was neutered years ago and that I was dumped at the pound due to divorce. Unluckily for me, I had a growth on my toe that was horrible and I was destined for the death chamber when I was rescued. I only had a few hours left when I was saved. My Angel just couldn't have that happen to me and even though she didn't know exactly how she could swing it, she saved me.
A lot of money has been spent on me to get me back into shape and I'm now ready to start on the rest of my life. I've had everything done medically that I need to be healthy. I have a few medications that I'm supposed to take on a regular basis and I'm just not sure about other dogs and cats, but I did really well on a temperament test and I really really want to bond with someone who will take care of me. I really love women and I'm getting better with men. My Angel knows from my behavior around her that I will be super loyal and protective of my family if I need to be. I know that a family familiar with Rotties would be the perfect place.
I know that I've had a lot of bad luck, but I'd really like to have a second chance and I would appreciate it so much if you could help me. My Angel also thanks you for taking the time to read this and to consider if there is something that you could do to help me.
