Lacie's Story...
This precious girl was skinny, hungry and scared to death when found last month living in an abandoned culvert. Lacie is approx 5-6 mos old and appears to be a Spaniel / Labrador Retriever mix. She is super cuddly and very calm. She enjoys the water and gets along well with other dogs. She plays well with children and is very smart. She walks well on a leash. She would be a great inside dog because she loves to snuggle. She barks only when something grabs her attention and stays quiet the rest of the time. She would make a wonderful family dog! Come take her for a walk at Petco Humble on FM 1960 just east of Hwy 59 on weekends 12-4:30 and see if she is a match for your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacie, a Humble Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Humble, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Humble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humble paves the way for another one to be saved.
