Rocky's Story...
We have 1 little pup left from the 10 that were saved by our own Rose & Bill. Rocky is about 14 weeks old now and we would love to have him in a wonderful home just like his siblings :o) Rocky is a terrier mix and is just the cutest kid!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're not sure how big he'll get, but to be on the safe side, I want to say medium-large. He's has the most beautiful, brindle-black color and is a playful little guy who needs attention. We want people and families who want a DOG for life that can be a member of the family. Remember puppies like to chew and maybe nip with their sharp puppy teeth while they play. They need training and a lot of love and attention. If you would like to adopt, please download our application from www.bobbicares.petfinder.org and email it to bobbicares2@aol.com. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Freeport American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Freeport, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
